The Role Purpose of the role
Supercharge client service: Deliver cutting-edge cost management powered by digital tools, moving beyond static reporting to dynamic project insight.
Cradle-to-grave expertise: Oversee every commercial aspect of projects, from initial concepts through close-out.

This role is part of our Commercial Services Team, led by the Commercial Director. You will be part of our Project Management Consultancy focused on understanding project problems, implementing the best solutions, and developing scalable practices, tools, and technology.

Your top five responsibilities
Own the cost : Manage project costs through all stage gates, integrating QCRA and risk-adjusted forecasting to provide a "no surprises" financial environment.
Own the outcome : Lead pre-construction estimating and post-contract live cost management, including deep-dive cost analysis of complex change orders to protect the client's interests.
Report and inform : Provide simple, actionable reports to stakeholders at all levels to help deliver the project more efficiently.
Make scalable solutions : Develop scalable, repeatable best practices and tools in collaboration with the team for long-term impact.
Develop everyone : Maximise development of your team and educate clients to improve as well.
Your capabilities
You should be a seasoned Cost Engineer with extensive client-facing experience, ideally with exposure to Tier 1 or 2 contractors, and a holistic view of cost as a byproduct of schedule, risk, and scope.
You must have
Mastery : Cost Management background with at least 5+ years of construction project experience
Communication : Proficient in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus (Norwegian advantageous)
Leadership : A relentless approach to dealing with people
Impact : A track record of improving projects and organisations beyond basic delivery
Location : Experience in the Nordic market and willingness to travel every other week to support regional operations
Data Centre Focus (Desirable)
Prior experience in data centres or high-tech industrial projects is highly valued
Ability to develop comprehensive commercial strategies for complex projects from initiation to handover
Experience leading negotiations with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for favourable terms in fast-paced environments
