We value accountability, collaboration, and thoughtful execution - and provide an environment where your work has a direct impact.JOB SUMMARY:A Rose Valley Management Service Technician for our 1119-unit high rise building is an essential team member who is responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing preventative and routine maintenance throughout the property grounds and in resident units.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:Responsible for common area and apartment repairs (routine and preventative) in the scope of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, wall repairs, painting, plumbing and appliances.Further oversight of the building's curb appeal though building exterior inspections, cleaning, and grounds maintenance is required.Customer service and attention to detail are critical skills to ensure the satisfaction of the community's residents.Special projects as assignedApply preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problemsFix potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesAble to attend team meetings, workshops and training sessions as required.Will be required to be in an on-call rotation with other employees for emergency work orders.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Able to stand and walk inside and outside in all weatherAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to endure walking, squatting, bending, balancing, climbing (ladders), kneeling, crawling and prolonged standingQUALIFICATIONS:Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliance, drywall, painting, and snow removal.Customer service first attitude.Must have reliable transportation for on-call emergencies.Experience working in maintenance in an apartment communityOn call REQUIREDBENEFITS OF WORKING AT ROSE VALLEY:Opportunities for monthly commissionsHealth, Dental and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountHealth Spending AccountCommuter BenefitsGenerous PTO package401K after 1 year of service with a company matchAs an essential player in the continued success of the property, it is important our Maintenance Technician has excellent customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to take initiative.
