Logistics Coordinator Part-Time
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Part-Time Logistics Coordinator is to coordinate and dispatch drivers across all Beacon locations to customer accounts, ensuring efficient routing and coverage. This is a part-time position, up to 29 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITILIES Receive and answer customer calls, emails, and texts Dispatch drivers based on customer requests Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of deliveries and follow up/follow through when needed Build and maintain strong, in-depth relationships with all our customers Communicate with other departments on a regular basis regarding shipments QUALIFICATIONS Education High School Diploma or equivalent Work Experience 3 years of experience in Logistics Skills and Knowledge Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) Excellent computer skills, including Logistics, ERP and Microsoft Office software Current or prior CDL certification Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multitask Ability to work under pressure Ability to proactively ensure adherence to local, state and federal guidelines.
