In this role, you'll support prospective and current students, families, faculty, and staff by providing thoughtful, studentcentered service across a range of enrollment functions.As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will deliver highquality customer service across all three campuses and within the community, gaining handson experience in areas such as financial aid, student accounts, student records, and registration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, learning new systems, and developing strong communication and problemsolving skills.The Enrollment Services Specialist serves as a trusted resource-helping individuals navigate university processes, answering questions, and ensuring accurate, consistent information is shared. With guidance and training, you'll grow into a confident problemsolver while contributing directly to student success and retention.Through proactive outreach, coordinated programs, and the use of modern, technologybased tools, this position offers valuable professional development and exposure to higher education operations. If you are motivated, peoplefocused, and looking to start or grow your career in a role where your work truly matters, this is a welcoming and rewarding place to begin.Essential FunctionsCounsel students and other constituencies with expertise in one or more areas (i.e., cashiers, collections, financial aid, student accounts, student records and registration).Manage all service-related inquiries. Analyze status of student records/academic standing.Resolve complex problems, work with appropriate staff to develop and implement intervention strategies using professional counseling techniques.Make expert referrals as needed.Coordinate programs for students and other customers (e.g., financial aid/scholarship, daily web/blog communications/updates; special recruitment events/showcases).Coordinate proactive outreach efforts to improve student retention.Design, develop and implement technology based self-service tools.May participate in performing one or more of the following duties: mentor new hired Enrollment Services Specialists; mentor or supervise student workers; participate in special projects.Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.Required EducationBachelor's Degree.Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.Required Trainings/CertificationsN/ARequired ExperienceOne (1) years of experience in counseling and/or as a service provider.Additional Qualifications ConsideredHigher education experience in financial aid, customer service, bursar, registrar, advising, or in customer service.Application InformationInterested and qualified applicants must apply online and include a cover letter of interest and a current Resume.
