Redstone is located in Huntsville, Alabama, otherwise known as "Rocket City." Huntsville is the hub of missile and space research and development. You will collaborate with other missile defense experts - military, government civilians, and contractors from Astrion and other companies. Our team of experts helps the Government manage planning, development and delivery of state-of-the art sensors, weapons, communications, and command/control systems.What are your specific duties? - The Senior MBSE Systems Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency Director of Test, Targets Engineering Directorate. The candidate will provide technical and advisory assistance to Targets Program Office by aiding in the refinement and implementation of MBSE design standards across a portfolio of products.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSEducation: Master's or Bachelor's degree in a STEM related fieldExperience: MS + 12 years or BS + 20 years of relevant experienceActive DoD Secret security clearance, which requires US CitizenshipWorks independently and/or leads teams to analyze and resolve problemsExpert Knowledge of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), preferably with direct experience working DoD SystemsAbility to train others on MBSE concepts and toolsExperience with languages used for architecture modeling (i.e. DoD Architecture Framework and (Unified Architecture Framework (UAF))Strong oral and written communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSFamiliarity with MDA and/or DoD programs and processesExperience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems or hypersonic weaponsHands-on experience with integrated requirements tools, such as DOORs NGExposure to MDA test events and activitiesStrong attention to detail and ability to efficiently perform multiple tasksAbility to communicate detailed technical information to technical and non-technical personnelRESPONSIBILITIESServe as architect for implementation of the Government Reference Architecture (GRA) MBSE solution across the Targets Program officeAuthor process documents, develop template frameworks, and construct metric reporting methods to facilitate the execution of the MBSE solution to existing and future programsUse requirements analysis to create and maintain the GRA in CameoPerform and lead systems engineering duties to elicit stakeholder requirements and mission needsPerform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and toolsDefine requirements, perform functional analysis using Model-based Systems Engineering techniques and tools#CJ
