Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is excited to take on a highly visible, hands-on role. This is not a traditional, siloed accounting position—this role requires a “Swiss Army knife” mindset, where you will wear multiple hats and contribute across functions.You will work closely with leadership, including the CFO and executive team, gaining direct exposure to strategic initiatives while helping scale the accounting operations in preparation for public markets.ResponsibilitiesSupport and help lead day-to-day accounting operations in a dynamic startup environmentContribute to building scalable financial processes and controls for both the existing business and upcoming spinoutWork within SAP S/4HANA as the company completes its ERP implementationCollaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and accounting partnersAssist with financial reporting readiness in advance of the upcoming S-1 filingTake on cross-functional responsibilities as needed in a lean team environmentRequirementsBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of progressive accounting experience (startup, biotech, or life sciences experience preferred)Experience with large ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA experience or ERP implementation exposure strongly preferred)Strong Excel and analytical skillsAbility to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-changing environmentComfortable wearing multiple hats and taking initiative in an ambiguous, startup settingStrong communication and collaboration skillsCPA
