Job Responsibilities Admin Coordinator I provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Philanthropy team while coordinating the daily functions of the MTC Foundation. This role serves as a key contributor to the Foundation's success through the management of departmental budgets, financial tracking, and expense processing. Works collaboratively with team members to ensure the accurate and timely processing of gifts and expenditures. Uses technology such as Financial Edge, Raisers Edge, and Colleague to support and advance the operations of the Foundation and Philanthropy Team. Serves as the primary liaison to the MTC Foundation Board of Trustees, supporting board communications, meeting coordination, documentation, and related activities. Develops and maintains detailed reports and records utilizing Excel and other database management systems to support organizational planning and decision-making. Assists with the planning and execution of Foundation and college events, including logistics, vendor coordination, catering arrangements, and event support. This position plays a vital role in advancing the mission of the Foundation through exceptional organization, communication, and customer service. This position is located on the Midlands Technical College Harbison Campus. Minimum and Additional Requirements A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services or a bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 3 years relevant experience: or associate's degree plus 5 years relevant experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services. Strong budget management skills including expertise in Excel. Ability to adapt new practices during integration of database management updates/upgrades.
