Optician/Office Manager

About us Nuwave Vision is a small business in Westlake, OH. We seek to provide top-quality medical eye care, high-end glasses, and contact lenses to the surrounding community. We specialize in full-scope optometric care for all ages. We provide new technology and treatment strategies to our patients including myopia management and medically necessary contact lens fitting. We are looking for a licensed Optician to join our team in a management role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping customers find the perfect eyewear solution and will be able to accurately measure and fit customers for glasses and assist with contact lens training. The Optician will also be responsible for educating customers on the latest eyewear trends and the best options for their spectacle lenses, helping them make informed decisions about their vision needs, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Measure and fit customers for eyeglasses and training on the use and care of contact lenses. Assist with receptionist activities including scheduling appointments, taking payments, and answering phone, text, and email messages. Advise customers on the best type of lenses for their needs. Provide customers with information about the different types of frames and lenses available. Maintain accurate records of customer prescriptions and purchases. Educate customers on proper lens care and maintenance.
