Our state-of-the-art national fulfillment center, located in Crawfordsville Indiana, is seeking quality workers ready and available to work an agreed upon work schedule. It is only with a dedicated staff we are able to meet and exceed our customers' expectations by picking, packing and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily to customers around the world.We have immediate openings for Light Picker/Packers on 1st shift. Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. or 7:30 am - 3:30 pm $16.00/hr. Now we offer benefits affective your first day of emplyment.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Pick and pack customer book orders using a variety of methodsProcess customer book returns in a variety of waysUsing a computer and/or hand-held radio frequency (RF) equipmentRequires basic reading and math skillsMust be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis and occasionally up to 35 lbs.Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)Must be able to climb stairs and be comfortable working on an upper mezzanine levelMust follow all safety rules and work well in a team-orientated environmentMust possess the flexibility to work in other areas based on business needsMinimum age requirement is 16Good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain good overall safety and attendance recordWork well in a team-orientated environmentMust adhere to all established safety and precaution measures.
