You will play a pivotal role in driving category success by managing store inventory health, enhancing communication with our retail operations team, and addressing critical retail needs. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, exceptional communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to a hybrid role (3 days in the office) based in our Carrboro, NC corporate office.Apply now and help us inspire the runner in everyone.What You'll DoComplete Vendor allocations of merchandise to stores to ensure accurate inventory levels, in support of store inventory and sales targetsAdjust allocations prior to auto-ARP run based on issues/opportunities highlighted in an analysisHandle store in stocks, Distribution Center (DC) stockouts, and non-model inventory, advancing issues to Buying / Retail Inv Manager as neededLead store merchandise delivery, transfers, RTVs, and RAs to ensure efficient store inventory levelsReview upcoming schedule for inbound with Operations and Buying for inbound/outbound forecast and DC performanceReview Vendor to Store inventory needs, summarize analysis for weekly meeting with BuyingApply model targets to help run product lifecycle appropriately based on seasonalityImplement allocations for promotions and expos/events; analyze performance and share results with teamComplete ad hoc Purchase Order submission to the vendor, with alignment from Buying & Retail Inventory ManagementCommunicate regularly with stores, district managers, and Operating Partners to see opportunities and share information cross-functionallyReview upcoming launches, assortment changes, out-of-stock issues, capacity issues, store highlights, etc. weekly with Buying and StoresReview vendor store sales and region store performance in weekly Inventory Sync, including productivity analysis, end-of-life monitoring, in stock%s, WOS, etc.Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communicationSupport Buying with seasonal analysis of size-selling ratiosParticipate in quarterly market/store travelAccountable KPIs (Vendor-Region-Store Level)Inventory Forecast VP (variance to plan)WOS (weeks of stock)Sell-Through %In stock%Report OwnershipWeekly Vendor ARP Summary ReportWeekly Allocations ToolWeekly Region Performance ReportWhat We're Looking For2 or more years of multi-door retail experience required.2+ years of Purchasing and/or Planning experience preferred.RICS Point of Sale experience preferred.NetSuite experience preferred.Experience with data input and analysis in an inventory allocation tool preferred.Strong eye for business and retail industry knowledge.Problem solver who enjoys challenges and takes pride in crafting the right solution.Excellent communicator with the ability to listen and adapt.Communicates authoritatively with the team, stores, and vendors.Outspoken self-starter with strong attention to detail and accuracy.Consistent record of working independently.Willing to go above and beyond when needed.Ability to travel 25% to Retail Store/ Market depending on company needs.Carrboro, NC based with flexible working days/hour.Why You'll Love It HereAt Fleet Feet, we’re more than just a company—we’re a passionate, mission-driven community.
