In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database processes and logic primarily using T-SQL within our SQL Server environment. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and supporting reporting and application needs across various business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database process design, query optimization, and troubleshooting, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex database solutions that directly impact our operational efficiency and service delivery.Qualifications3-5+ years of professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.Strong understanding of database process design and business logic implementation.Proficiency in query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis.Experience managing SQL Server Agent jobs and troubleshooting database processes.Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Extended Events for performance analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly across teams.Interest in craftsmanship and continuous improvement in database engineering practices.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop database processes and logic using T-SQL to support application and reporting needs.Write and maintain stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions ensuring efficiency and scalability.Optimize queries and indexes to improve database performance in SQL Server environments.Implement and manage SQL Server Enterprise features such as partitioning, compression, and in-memory tables.Create, monitor, and troubleshoot SQL Server Agent jobs and scheduled processes to ensure reliability and efficiency.Utilize Extended Events and diagnostic tools to analyze database performance and identify areas for improvement.Support reporting workflows, including integration with Telerik and other reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business teams to align database solutions with system and business requirements.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance database architecture and processes.BenefitsAt Foursight Capital LLC, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional and personal growth.
