Job Title: CMDB / CSDM Consultant (Contract – Remote)Location: Remote (US-Based Preferred)Employment Type: ContractDuration: 6+ months (with possible extension)Work Authorization: US-based candidates only (no sponsorship)Role Overview:We are seeking an experienced CMDB / CSDM Consultant to support a ServiceNow ITOM program focused on CMDB optimization, governance, and alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in CMDB architecture and remediation within enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:Lead CMDB and CSDM remediation efforts across enterprise environmentsImprove CMDB health through data governance, normalization, and CI managementEnsure alignment with ServiceNow CSDM standards and best practicesDefine and implement CMDB data model improvements and relationship mappingSupport ITOM processes including Discovery and Service Mapping integrationCollaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality and consistencyProvide guidance on CMDB maturity and long-term governance strategyRequired Skills & Experience:Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDBDeep expertise in CSDM framework implementation and remediationExperience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping preferred)Strong understanding of CI lifecycle and data governanceExperience in large-scale CMDB remediation projectsAbility to work independently in a remote contract environmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMandatory Requirement:🎓 ServiceNow Certification is REQUIRED (CSA or CIS-ITOM preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Additional ServiceNow certifications (CIS-ITOM, CAD, etc.)Experience in federal or regulated environmentsKnowledge of ETL / CMDB data ingestion processesPrior consulting experienceWhat We Offer:Remote flexible contract engagementOpportunity to work on enterprise-scale CMDB transformationExposure to advanced ServiceNow ITOM implementations
