Multiple vacant positions may be filled using this LinkedIn Posting.In this role, your Mission Overview is the following: This position supports the C3BM Joint Fires Network Integration Office Security Directorate. The incumbent is the Foreign Disclosure Officer in Joint Base Anacostia/Boling. This position provides expert technical advice in the complex area of international program security and foreign disclosure for programs, Joint/Combined exercises, and information/data disclosure. This position supports a unique Joint Program Office to support major DAF and COCOM exercises, integration of classification management, security instructions, disclosure letters etc. Supports management, security training for Program Acquisition Executive workforce, security surveys/special programs security inspections for assigned programs.Focused Area of Support: As the Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO), you will plan, organize and execute security processes in C3BM and Joint Fires Network programs/activities and acquisition programs at San Diego, National Capitol Region, Wright-Patterson AFB, and other contractor and government locations. Performs duties leading activities for multiple security disciplines to advance acquisition security goals in critical aspect of international engagements. Will technically and administratively lead development and documenting consistent international engagements security processes for programs/activities as defined in AF and DOD guidance. Assists in maintaining security oversight and cross cutting Operations Security and disclosure management programs including DAF, USN, DISA, and other organization classification decisions. Will work with classified material at the collateral, Special Access, and Sensitive Compartmented levels. Apply Now!KSA Qualifications/RequirementsKnowledge of a wide range of information security concepts, principles, and policies in the area of foreign disclosure in order to review, independently analyze, and resolve difficult and complex foreign disclosure problems.Knowledge of the laws, principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management.Knowledge of the laws, principles, policies, regulations, guidelines and processes involving Foreign Military Sales (FMS).Ability to plan, organize, develop and/or oversee studies or projects.Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts; draw conclusions; conduct analyses; devise recommended solutions; and present the findings in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for top management use and decision-making.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relations.Additional QualificationsU.S. CitizenshipIf selected, you may be required to complete a one-year probationary period.This position is not remote, the selectee will be expected to report to the duty station(s) listed.
