Utility Pipe Layer
2-3 years of experience in construction site work with a focus on utility installation or pipeline projects is highly preferred. Must be bilingual and have reliable transportation.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Utility Pipe Layer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating construction equipment, installing, maintaining, and repairing utility pipelines, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and construction site safety protocols to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to industry standards.
Duties
Lay and align utility pipelines for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems according to blueprints and project specifications,
Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and move materials.
Use pipe lasers and utility locating tools to ensure precise alignment and placement of pipelines.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
Conduct pipeline testing, inspection, and quality control measures throughout installation processes.
Assist with excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup activities.
Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, welding, concrete work, and utility installation.
Experience
Minimum of 2-3 Years in pipe laying and equipment operation
Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks.
Knowledge of blueprint reading and utility locating techniques is essential.
Collaborate
Strong understanding of construction safety standards and site protocols.
