This role involves providing comprehensive care within a Womens Services unit, including labor, postpartum, and newborn stabilization for high-risk and critical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of two years of labor and delivery experience and offers a schedule of 12-hour day shifts.Job Details:Location: Ketchum, IdahoSpecialty: Labor and Delivery (L&D)Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekends and holidays equitably distributedRequired Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Stable (specific certification), and at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, including experience with newborn stabilization and managing laboring patients autonomously.Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with OB in maternity units, familiarity with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems, and willingness to float to assist with unit needs.Additional Information: The role involves assisting in a secure unit with 6 postpartum beds, one operating room suite for C-sections, and caring for both mother and baby during initial hours. The RN will manage high-risk obstetric cases, titrate drips such as Mag and Pit, and work closely with in-house OB/Neonatologists and anesthesia providers. Orientation includes one day of facility-specific training and two 12-hour shifts on the unit.
