Club Operations Manager (PM Shifts)

The Club Operations Manager (Evening Focus/PM Shifts) is responsible for overseeing all late-day and closing operations across the Club's dining venues, lounges, bars, and event spaces. The 12-storey building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.As the Club Operations Manager you will report to the Head of Club F&B Operations and play an integral part of the F&B Operations team. You willOversee all club outlets during evening service and closing periodsEnsure seamless execution of dinner, lounge, and late-night programmingMonitor service flow, staffing levels, and guest experience across venuesSupport outlet leaders in real-time problem solving and decision makingAct as escalation point for member concerns, service recovery, and special requestsMaintain strong floor presence to recognize and engage VIPs and key membersEnsure personalized service standards are upheld throughout the eveningOversee staggered closing procedures across restaurants, bars, lounges, and event spacesCoordinate event breakdowns, room resets, and next-day readinessPartner with culinary and beverage teams to maintain service quality and pacingEnsure accurate end-of-day reporting, revenue reconciliation, and cash handlingMonitor labor compliance, overtime controls, and proper shift closuresVerify adherence to alcohol service standards and local regulationsComplete nightly incident and operational reportsProtect club standards during late hours when leadership presence is reducedAddress safety concerns in partnership with security and facilities teamsEnsure cleanliness, ambiance, and music levels align with brand expectationsProvide coaching and real-time feedback to outlet managers and supervisorsReinforce service culture, professionalism, and accountabilitySupport onboarding and training initiatives for evening teamsWhat you can bring to the role:5+ years in luxury hospitality, private clubs, or high-end multi-outlet environmentsProven leadership in evening or high-volume service operationsExperience managing VIP clientele and member-driven environmentsPrivate members' club or lifestyle hospitality experienceMulti-venue oversight (restaurants, lounges, events)Strong knowledge of POS systems, labor controls, and financial reportingExceptional guest engagement and emotional intelligenceCalm, decisive leadership in fast-paced environmentsStrong operational and financial acumenAbility to manage multiple venues simultaneouslyHigh standards of professionalism and discretionEvening-focused schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysFloor-based leadership role requiring extended standing and mobilityFast-paced, luxury hospitality environmentProficient in POS systems (Micros), events software (Tripleseat or similar), and payroll platforms (Evention/ Dayforce).ServSafe, TIPS, and ABRA Manager's License preferredAbility to lift, pull, push up to 35 lbsAble to stand for long periods of time throughout shiftWhat can The Ned's Club give to you?Salary of up to $115,000/yearMedical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD InsuranceComplimentary meals in our friendly team restaurantExciting learning and development programs to help progress your careerExclusive rates with our hotels for stay and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel stays.Paid time off401k matchingEmployee assistance program – advice and supportReward and recognition initiativesJ-18808-Ljbffr
