Powering a new electric world for a brighter, more secure future.Job DescriptionThe HSE Specialist is responsible for overseeing all aspects of building functions and guarantees the safety and functionality of all facilities. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records, and supervising facilities staff. The incumbent is required to be well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibit high multitasking and organizational abilities.ResponsibilitiesThe following list of responsibilities is not all inclusive, additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned to meet operational needs. MCG retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position should operational needs warrant.Incident Management & Prevention Leading and supporting the reporting, investigation, and prevention of incidents.Responding to injuries and near missesConducting root cause analysisTracking corrective actionsSharing lessons learnedMonitoring TRIR, DART, and other KPIsSupport employee awareness, participation, and safe behaviors.
