We're building next-generation robots designed to work alongside humans, operate in human environments, and help address growing labor shortages.Position OverviewWe are seeking talented and experienced Electrical Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, develop, and test critical electrical systems for our robotic platforms.ResponsibilitiesDesign and validate power electronics systems including battery management, power distribution, and protection circuitsDevelop motor driver circuits and control systems for precise robotic movement and actuationDesign and implement sensor integration systems (IMUs, encoders, hall sensors, temperature sensors, etc.)Create circuit designs, schematics, and PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA toolsPerform circuit simulation and analysis to validate designs before prototypingConduct hardware testing, debugging, and optimization for performance and reliabilityCollaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, and software engineersContribute to system integration and troubleshooting during development and testing phasesDocument designs, test procedures, and engineering specificationsSupport the transition from prototype to production-ready designs with DFM/DFA considerationsRequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field3+ years of industrial experience in electrical system design for complex productsExperience with digital electronics (microcontrollers, communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.)Proficiency in PCB design and layout using tools like Altium, Eagle, or KiCadExperience with circuit simulation tools (LTspice, PSpice, or similar)Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex hardware systemsExcellent documentation and communication abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience specifically in robotics, automation, or similar electromechanical systemsKnowledge of battery technologies and battery management systemsExperience with high-performance motor control (FOC, BLDC, PMSM)Familiarity with embedded firmware developmentExperience with EMI/EMC design considerations and testingKnowledge of functional safety standards and compliance requirementsExperience bringing products through regulatory certification (UL, CE, FCC)Familiarity with mechanical design and CAD tools
