Job Title: Microbiologist Entry Location: Berkeley, CA 94710 Job Type: Contract Start Date: Right Away Pay: Pay range: $27.00-$33.50/hr. Responsibilities: Support day-to-day operations in QC microbiology laboratories. Conduct microbiological tests on in-process samples including growth promotion testing. Support method verifications for clinical and commercial products. Qualifications: Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology or a related scientific field with 1‑2 years of relevant laboratory experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry and/or in a GMP environment. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Hands‑on microbiological assays. Belcan is an equal opportunity employer.
