Industrial Maintenance Millwright

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery in an industrial setting. The Millwright will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment. Responsibilities: - Install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery as needed - Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns - Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics - Analyze mechanical problems and provide solutions - Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is functioning efficiently - Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy - Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs Skills: - Proficiency in analyzing mechanical issues and providing effective solutions - Experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright - Technical sales knowledge for equipment recommendations - Familiarity with low voltage systems - Knowledge of HVAC/R systems - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills - Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) - Excellent customer service skills to interact with internal teams and vendors Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 12 hour shift Overnight shift Experience: Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred) Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Portland, OR 97210 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Portland, OR 97210: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
