Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing • Must have 1-2 years of nursing experience and at least 6 months of telemetry experience • Required certifications: BLS from AHA and ACLS from AHA • RN license in state of employment or compact required • Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a step-down unit) • Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire • Complete organizational entry competency validation and specialty-specific competency validation • Temporary to permanent position possibility available • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred Facility: This healthcare facility operates a dedicated telemetry unit providing specialized cardiac and telemetry monitoring services.
