A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with 2 positions available • Weekend requirement of every other weekend • No on-call requirements • Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required • At least 6 months of telemetry experience required • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA • RN license in state of employment or compact required • Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit) • Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education • All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days • Complete annual competency verification requirements • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred • Temporary to permanent position possibility available Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive cardiac and telemetry services with a focus on quality patient care and professional nursing development.
