Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time position with every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing • Epic experience required • Must have 1-2 years of nursing experience and at least 6 months of telemetry experience • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA • RN License in Louisiana or compact state required • Provide care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a step-down unit) • Utilize nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers • Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire • Complete annual competency verification requirements • Temporary to permanent opportunity available Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive hospital providing a wide range of medical services to the community.
