If you are a proactive leader with a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence, we invite you to join our team.What You'll DoOpen and close the plant daily, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.Manage day-to-day plant operations to maintain consistent, high-quality production standards.Lead and oversee plant personnel, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure optimal performance.Safely batch concrete and load trucks according to order specifications, maintaining high efficiency and quality standards.Enter material tickets into the back-office system accurately and promptly.Prepare daily operational packets, including batch tickets, material tickets, daily truck sheets, and other relevant documentation.Uphold all safety, environmental, and operational policies without exception.Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture that aligns with the company's core values.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.4-6 years of related experience in concrete batching, plant operations, or a similar production environment.Possess ACI Level I Certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.Possess SCDOT Concrete Technician – Batching Certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.Thorough knowledge of all aspects of concrete batching technology, equipment, methods, and safety procedures.Prior supervisory or management experience in a production setting.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends as needed.Physical DemandsAbility to safely lift a minimum of 75 lbs.Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, reach, and operate a computer keyboard.Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders.Ability to work primarily outside, with exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.EOESalary Description80,000-90,000
