Weekend Kitchen Porter

Shift Details:Saturday & Sunday's only1pm - 9:30pmGeneral ResponsibilitiesThe Kitchen Porter supports the smooth operation of the office kitchen and break areas by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization. Key duties include washing dishes and utensils, cleaning kitchen surfaces and appliances, restocking supplies (e.g., coffee, tea, cutlery), and ensuring waste is properly disposed of. The role may also involve assisting with light food prep for meetings or events. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a professional office environment.Specific Duties / Essential Functions:Sanitize and clean food prep areasWash and sanitize all pots, pans, or other cookwareEmpty and clean dishwashers (if applicable)Wipe down walls and other general equipment, including microwaves, toasters, and coffee makersWash and disinfect all prep boards, surfaces, slicers, and utensilsEmpty trash cans around the property, replacing trash bagsClean and disinfect all waste bins and areas after emptying garbageSweep and mop kitchen floors and common areasRemoving trash, cleaning floors, dusting/wiping down all surfacesOperating walk-behind floor cleaning machines (if applicable)Restocking supplies in, bathrooms, break rooms, and common areasMaintain janitor closets in a clean and organizedMaintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe, and operable conditionProficiency in English will enhance your ability to collaborate and communicate with colleagues and clients, ensuring smooth operations.Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift.Miscellaneous duties as assigned.Skills & Experience:While not mandatory, proficiency in English is highly recommended to perform the responsibilities of this role effectively.
