Low Voltage Licensed Technician
Essential Network Technologies is seeking experienced structured cable/low voltage technicians skilled in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cable systems. You must be licensed by St. Louis County pull low-voltage permits in the city of St. Louis to apply for this position.
Roles and Responsibilities:
CAT5e and CAT6 copper solution installation and Termination.
Fiber optic cable installation and termination.
Accurately testing copper and fiber optic cables to industry standard utilizing appropriate test equipment.
Troubleshooting and repairing copper and fiber optic cables.
Installing and troubleshooting IP camera and door access controls

Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience installing copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
Ability to work extended hours (overtime) if needed
Reliable daily travel to work-sites
Must be able to work safely following company policy/procedures on safety
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds as necessary
Ability to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and work in aerial lifts.
Comfortable with, and capable of, working in construction environments.
This position does not include take-home vehicles.
You must be licensed by St. Louis County pull low-voltage permits in the city of St. Louis.
