Aircraft Mechanic

Job Overview: Searching for a certificated A&P mechanic to maintain several Swearingen Merlin and Metro aircraft, all in corporate configuration. In type experience preferred. Responsibilities: - Conduct routine maintenance tasks to uphold aircraft performance and safety standards. - Interpret and utilize aircraft schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs. - Employ a variety of hand tools to perform maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately. - Perform maintenance on avionics systems to ensure proper functionality. - Engage in heavy lifting activities as required during maintenance procedures. - Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve maintenance issues effectively. - Adhere to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) in all maintenance activities. - Operate coordinate measuring machines to ensure precise measurements during maintenance tasks. Skills: - Ability to maintain aircraft in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards. - Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and manuals. - Competent in using a variety of hand tools for maintenance tasks. - Knowledge of avionics systems and troubleshooting techniques. - Capable of performing heavy lifting duties as necessary during maintenance procedures. - Skilled in root cause analysis to identify and address maintenance issues effectively. - Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) governing aircraft maintenance.
