Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Wound Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 37.5 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Wound, Ostomy & Continence Nurse (RN) Location: 760 Broadway, Woodhull Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY 11206 ⏰ Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $45/hr | $1,950/week | $3,637.50 Weekly ✨ Job Summary: We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled RN specializing in wound, ostomy, and continence care to join our team! In this role, you’ll make a meaningful impact by delivering expert care, improving patient outcomes, and enhancing quality of life every day. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed assessments for wounds, ostomies & continence conditions Develop and implement personalized, patient-centered care plans Monitor healing progress and adjust treatments accordingly ⚕️ Educate patients, families & staff on prevention and care techniques Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Lead training sessions and support ongoing staff education ️ Ensure patient safety, confidentiality & adherence to best practices Recommend and manage wound care supplies & specialty equipment Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) Active New York State RN License ❤️ AHA BLS Certification ⏳ Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience Hands-on experience in wound & ostomy care Certification required: CWOCN / CWON / CWCN / CWS / WCC Key Skills: Strong clinical judgment & critical thinking Excellent communication & patient education skills Team collaboration & coordination ⚙️ Expertise in advanced wound care practices Why You’ll Love This Role: Competitive weekly pay ⏰ Consistent day shift (work-life balance!)
