1:1 Care 1:1 Special Education Paraprofessional in Everett, WA

This position involves providing essential support as a Bus Aide in a school setting, focusing on assisting students during transportation. The role requires attentiveness, reliability, and the ability to offer one-on-one or two-on-one care to ensure student safety and comfort.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and assist students boarding, riding, and exiting the bus safelyProvide 1:1 or 2:1 care to students during transportationSupport students who may require additional assistance due to physical, developmental, or behavioral needsCommunicate effectively with bus drivers and school staff regarding student needs and concernsMaintain a safe and positive environment on the bus during routesQualifications:Experience as a paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferredAbility to provide focused care with patience and understandingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliability and punctuality to cover early morning and afternoon shiftsComfortable working in a transport environment and handling diverse student needsPosition Details:Location: Seattle, WA and surrounding areasSchedule: Approximately 15 hours per week (3 hours per day), split between morning (6:30 am - 8:30 am) and afternoon (2:30 pm - 4:30 pm) shiftsAssignment Duration: Immediate start through May 29, 2026Caseloads may include 1:1 or 2:1 student support on the busThis opportunity offers a meaningful way to support students' daily journeys and contribute to their educational experience.
