*Job Title: Network Engineer (only 10+ years of experience is considered ( minimum 9 years in USA)* *Location :NYC* *Prefer Hybrid options (Although it could be remote initially).* *6 Months* *Visa: Citizen, H1B, GC, H4-EAD, GC-EAD* *only 10+ years of experience is considered ( minimum 8 years in USA)* *Rate: 50 on w2, 55 on C2C,* *only 10+ years of experience is considered ( minimum 8 years in USA)* *Job Summary:* We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the network, compute & Storage and application teams to analyze, design, implement, and migrate our client applications and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking technologies, including routing, switching, and load balancing, and a proven track record of implementing and managing complex network systems. *Responsibilities:* Analyze current applications and network dependencies, design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support the applications and migration Collaborate with development and IT teams to ensure that network requirements are incorporated into the design and implementation of new systems and applications Develop and maintain application network security controls to protect against potential security threats Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve performance issues Participate in on-call rotation for application and network support Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI-DSS, IRS 1075, and HIPAA *Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience in a network engineer role Strong understanding of applications as it relates to networking technologies, including routing, switching, and load balancing Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as AppDynamics, Nagios or SolarWinds Job Types: Contract, Full-time Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift Education: * Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: * network monitoring and management tools such as AppDynamics: 5 years (Preferred) * Nagios: 5 years (Preferred) * SolarWinds: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
