Duties Cut, trim, debone, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and customer specifications Package meat products efficiently while maintaining freshness and presentation quality Ensure all food handling procedures adhere strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene standards Assist customers with their selections, answer questions about different cuts, and provide friendly service Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and restock display cases as needed Follow all safety protocols during meat processing, including proper knife handling techniques Experience Proven experience in food production or culinary settings, preferably within the meat or butcher industry Strong knife skills with the ability to perform precise meat cutting and trimming Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is highly desirable Familiarity with packaging techniques for perishable goods in a retail environment Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele Hands-on experience in food preparation, meat cutting, or related roles within the food industry Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Experience: Meat cutting: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
