This position involves collaboration across multiple disciplines, including thermal-mechanical analysts, material scientists, and fabrication teams, in a fast-paced environment. The role is based in Wilmington, NC, and requires a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement in accordance with regulatory and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Design and refine mechanical solutions for new and existing nuclear fuel products.Prepare comprehensive drawings and specifications.Lead technical risk identification and resolution efforts within projects.Conduct design and production readiness reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cost reduction and address customer and manufacturing issues. Must-Have Skills:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.2+ years of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.Proficiency in 3D CAD, GD&T, and basic FEA analysis.
