Paralegal Our client, in Waco, Texas, is seeking a litigation paralegal to support attorneys in civil litigation matters across Texas in both state and federal courts.Key Responsibilities Provide high-level litigation support from case intake through trial and post-judgmentDraft and assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondenceManage written discovery, including requests for disclosure, interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissionCoordinate and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trialsHandle Texas e-filing (eFileTexas) and ensure compliance with court deadlines and local rulesMaintain litigation calendars, docket control, and statutory deadlinesAssist with designation, discovery deadlines, and pretrial disclosuresOrganize and manage large-scale document productions and exhibitsPrepare trial binders, exhibit lists, and witness lists; provide courtroom support as neededCommunicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and expertsQualifications 3 to 5+ years of Texas litigation paralegal experiencePreference background in civil litigation, including personal injury and probate/will contests, but open to other practice areasExperience supporting both plaintiff and defense mattersIn-depth knowledge of Texas rules of civil procedure, Texas rules of evidence, and discovery practicesFamiliarity with Texas state courts and federal court proceduresExcellent organizational, drafting, and communication skillsSeeking an organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage cases from pre-suit through trial with minimal supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AdobeAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines independentlyTrial preparation and in-court support experienceExperience with legal case management and document management systemsParalegal certification or equivalent experience preferred, but not requiredBenefits Medical, dental, visionPaid time offCSDAL65
