Overview In this role you drive product and process quality through system-driven methods, continuous improvement, and compliance. You lead root cause analysis, support Six Sigma projects, and strengthen quality management systems with cross-functional collaboration. You will audit, measure, and improve quality metrics while guiding suppliers and internal teams. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position that shapes quality culture and outcomes across the business. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain quality management processes and documentation (QMS) including EMS and ISO-related requirementsLead Six Sigma and other continuous improvement projects to reduce variation, defects, and costsPerform root cause analysis and CAPA using 8D, Fishbone, and 5 WhysPlan and execute internal and supplier quality audits; address nonconformances to closureCreate and maintain control plans, inspection criteria, and process capability studies (SPC)Support new product introduction activities with DFMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, APQP and verification/validation plansMonitor, report, and analyze quality metrics (DPPM, yield, OEE, NCRs) and present findingsTrain production and cross-functional teams on quality standards and EMS requirementsCollaborate with suppliers to drive quality improvement and support supplier development Key requirementsBachelor in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)Minimum 3 years in a quality role with ownership of quality systems and continuous improvementExperience with EMS implementation and maintenance; familiarity with ISO 14001 preferredSix Sigma certification (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred) with experience leading DMAIC projectsStrong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, root cause analysis, CAPA)Hands-on experience with quality data analysis and statistical tools (Minitab, JMP, Excel)Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsNice to have: QE-specific experience, CQE certification, or EMS environmentsstrong communicationcross-functional collaborationproblem-solvingSix Sigma (DMAIC)QMS and EMSFMEA
