Applicants must have an M.D. degree. ABIM or ABFM certification and Geriatric Medicine certification/eligibility is required.Teaching responsibilities may include training medical students, residents, and fellows. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.Clinical responsibilities may include ambulatory geriatric care (office based, home care and/or nursing home care), and inpatient care (hospital and/or Sub-Acute Rehabilitation).
