Join the Logoplaste Team!Competitive wages, starting at $21.77Overtime available!Attendance Bonus!PLUS, excellent benefits!Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Mold Changeover Technician, to join one of our Teams in Inwood, WV.The Mold Changeover Technician is responsible for implementing and managing all mold and machine changeover processes as well as managing the quality function for relevant machinery.Key Tasks &Activities...Sets up one or more machines, repair and troubleshoot equipment, ancillary equipment and support equipmentMake required mold change support equipment as requiredPerform minor or routine maintenance and repairsEnsures the manufactured products meet specifications after machine is change overEstablish "Best in Class" documentation for all equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic issues and partner with maintenance as requiredPrep molds for cleaning and identify any mold damage for repairsKeep all molds and change parts in order to be ready for next change overMoves machine controls to set preform feeder, bottle conveyor adjustments, infeed and outfeed wheels setupComplete required paperwork accurately and legiblyMust be willing to train and go to classes to learn machine operation, maintenance and repairComplete preventative maintenance requirements in coordination with Maintenance teamPromote continuous quality improvement processes, including SMED, 5S, Kaizen, problem solving, implement lean metrics etc.Participate in the safety processes of the plantComply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping and GMP practices/Global Food Safety practicesOther duties as assigned by managerWho we are looking for...Background and Experience3-5 years manufacturing experience in plastics technology or a similar technical area; Recognized certification or education in related field preferredStrong knowledge of PETStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience with downtime analysis and scrap reductionMust be able to work flexible hours to complete necessary changes and provide support for processing on all shiftsPrevious supervisory experience requiredGood communication and team building skillsExperience with lean manufacturing processesAbility to work in a fast pace, lean environment with heat above 90 degreesAbility to sit, climb, stand, bend, crawl and walk on a varying basis throughout the assigned work scheduleAbility to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 poundsTechnical SkillsGood working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAPAbility to effectively communicate technical system issuesLogoplaste offers an excellent benefits package with genuine career development opportunities.Follow us on LinkedIn!Logoplaste is an equal opportunities employer, where the foundation of our culture and our drive is based on Diversity & Inclusion.
