This role involves representing clients in complex legal disputes and providing strategic advice to ensure favorable outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in court and before governmental agencies in commercial litigation mattersPrepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefsConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategiesNegotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution processesAdvise clients on legal risks and implications of business decisionsCollaborate with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategiesManage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation mattersStay updated on current laws and regulations affecting commercial litigationQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in the relevant jurisdictionMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and business litigationStrong knowledge of tort law, labor law, and class action litigationExcellent analytical, research, and writing skillsProven negotiation and advocacy skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skills
