IntroductionAs a Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutions. You will work closely with the team to create data-driven insights and support decision-making processes within the organization.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and visual analytics solutionsWork across the Tableau ecosystem, including Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, Tableau Server, and Tableau CloudCreate well-structured Tableau workbooks, dashboards, calculated fields, parameters, filters, actions, sets, groups, LOD expressions, and advanced visualizationsBuild and maintain Tableau data sources, extracts, published data sources, and live connectionsUse Tableau Prep to clean, combine, transform, and prepare data for reporting and analytics consumptionWrite advanced SQL queries to support Tableau dashboards and analytical workloadsWork with relational databases, cloud data warehouses, and enterprise data platformsDevelop reusable views, curated datasets, transformation logic, and reporting-ready data modelsOptimize Tableau dashboard performancePublish, schedule, refresh, and manage Tableau content in Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud environmentsSupport Tableau governance and security best practicesTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable BI solutionsCollaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business stakeholdersDocument dashboard logic, data definitions, calculations, data sources, and user guidanceSupport issue resolution, enhancement requests, dashboard migration, and production support activitiesRequirementsProficiency in Tableau, Business Intelligence, and Data Warehouse conceptsStrong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queriesExperience working with relational databases and cloud data warehousesAbility to translate business requirements into technical solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities
