Coordinator, Consumer Marketing Strategy

The Hallmark Media brand marketing team is seeking a coordinator to support their paid and contractual marketing efforts linear and SVOD platforms. The ideal candidate is extremely detail oriented, has a passion for organization and process, is comfortable working with other teams and is excited to be part of the evolving media industry. The Coordinator, Consumer marketing Strategy supports the entire team with the day-to-day management of paid and contractual media campaigns including curating planning documents and decks, requesting and trafficking assets, attending status calls with the media agency and recommending optimizations and opportunities as they arise. He/she also collaborates with the team on other marketing related projects and initiatives as needed.The hourly range for this job is between $21.01—$27.99. Hourly rate will take into consideration several factors including location.Essential FunctionsCoordinate the development & execution of consumer marketing tactics for Hallmark Media priorities across all areas including paid media, email marketing, promotional partnerships, events, synergy initiatives, sweepstakes, partnership recaps, premiums, etc and other opportunities as they arise.Participates in campaign strategy, planning and reporting calls with the media agency for linear, SVOD and contractual marketing campaignsSubmit creative requests, manage creative spec sheet and approvals, traffic creative materials and track deadlines. Communicates and requests creative assets, works closely with the design and promo teams, as well as external creative agencies, to ensure high quality and accurate deliveriesCoordinate creative briefing process in conjunction with key internal and external stakeholders including managing tracking documents, planning timelines, incoming scripts, and updating briefs as needed.Plan monthly email marketing calendar, requesting creative, testing and scheduling email marketing and push notifications campaigns in Sailthru. Track performance and proactively recommend testing opportunities.Assist in developing monthly Linear and SVOD marketing priority outlines for creative developmentWork with internal stakeholders to coordinate campaign research and prepare in-depth competitive research across multiple platformsContributes to post-campaign reporting and analysis discussions to identify key learnings, performance highlights and future optimizationsSchedule meetings with internal and external teams; update and distribute marketing communications such as status reports, agendas and meeting recaps.Provide additional support across departmental marketing and administrative tasks as needed.Contributing to executive decks and overview documents as neededMay include occasional travel.Basic QualificationsUndergraduate degree from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field1-3 years of professional marketing experience within the entertainment industry and/or media agency experience, strong interest in entertainment marketing preferredPassion for television and connecting with consumers in innovative and disruptive waysStrong verbal, presentation and written communication skills coupled with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across multiple departmentsEnthusiastic self-starter with excellent analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skillsProactive, curious, detail-oriented, and proficient at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail, organizational & project management skills and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while working under deadlines and exceptional follow-through skillsAbility to problem-solve/troubleshoot operational or business issuesExperience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, file sharing sites, streaming platforms & all social media platformsAbility to travel overnight on occasion to support marketing initiativesMust be able to handle confidential information and operate with the highest professional ethicsPreferred QualificationsExperience in consumer marketing within entertainment and/or mediaA desire to test and learn and are comfortable with ambiguityA strong business and marketing acumenProven ability to seek out and analyze data, both internal and external, to bring fresh insightsAbility to interact and communicate professionally with management at different levels, internal and external audiences, and the ultimate Hallmark consumerPossess a high degree of curiosity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate with consumersDemonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence internal partners across a matrixed organizationMust personally commit to excellence in every aspect of work
