Guest Service Agent
Are you a people-person who loves creating great first impressions? We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Guest Service Agent to join our front desk team at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis/Carmel. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming face of our hotel, helping guests feel at home from check-in to check-out.
The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. Hospitality experience is a plus, and multilingual skills are always appreciated as we welcome guests from near and far.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests with a genuine smile and assist with smooth check-in and check-out experiences
Answer questions, solve problems, and ensure every guest leaves happy
Manage reservations, changes, and cancellations accurately using hotel systems
Handle phone calls professionally using a multi-line phone system
Share information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
Partner with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
Assist with night audit duties when needed
Consistently deliver high standards of hospitality and guest care
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality operations preferred
A strong passion for customer service with a positive, professional attitude
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the phone
Comfort using hotel management and reservation systems
Ability to handle guest concerns calmly and confidently
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings or overnight shifts if needed
