DescriptionThe Long-Term Substitute Music Teacher at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School will be responsible for teaching music instruction to all students in grades 3-6 while supporting the school's mission of faith formation and academic excellence.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver music school curriculum and grade-level standardsMaintain a positive, respectful classroom environmentCollaborate with classroom teachers and administrationAssess student progress and provide feedback through online gradingQualifications:Bachelor's degreeSubstitute teaching license or teaching license preferredExperience working with children in a classroom or music settingFamiliarity with Catholic liturgy and music is highly desirableStrong classroom management and communication skillsPreferred Qualities:Enthusiasm for working in a faith-based environmentAbility to lead student singing for Mass and school events is a plusFlexibility and adaptability in a temporary role
