Tester Automation
Important company of the Automotive Sector requests Tester AutomationKey Responsabilities:Design and execute test plans and test cases in HiL environments (dSPACE, NI, Vector).Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, MATLAB/Simulink, CAPL, or C#.Validate ECU functionalities through CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet communication.Perform diagnostic testing (UDS, OBD-II, XCP) and fault injection scenarios.Analyze logs and measurement data with tools such as ControlDesk, CANoe, MATLAB, Python (pandas/numpy), NI DIAdem.Collaborate with development teams to identify, report, and track defects.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).Contribute to compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety) and ASPICE standards.Maintain documentation for test cases, results, and quality metrics.Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related fields.2+ years of experience in HiL testing and test automationISTQB Foundation or equivalent certification (desirable)Knowledge of ISO 26262 / ASPICE (highly valued).Experience in HiL testing platforms (dSPACE ConfigurationDesk/ControlDesk, NI VeriStand/TestStand, Vector CANoe).Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet).Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python is a must; MATLAB, CAPL, or C# are a plus).Familiarity with continuous integration systems (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).Understanding of embedded systems development lifecycle (V-Model, Agile).SQL or time-series databases for test results management (desirable).Desired Skills: Experience with cloud-based testing (AWS, Azure).Knowledge of continuous testing and shift-left methodologies.Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) or ECU software development.Previous experience in automotive OEM or Tier 1 suppliers.Personal Qualities:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
