The Manager shall operate a clean, efficient and safe warehouse. This individual will be a working manager.Essential Responsibilities & ExpectationsPlan daily/weekly/quarterly work scheduleMaintain positive work environmentMaintain effective communication with TTCo managementInsure all orders are pulled, packaged, and shipped promptlyInsure completion of all daily and weekly reportsMaintain all outstanding stock order and stock transfer reportsManage and maintain all parts stock action on service lettersMaintain all contamination control (5 Star) guidelinesInsure all inbound/outbound freight charges are added to customer documents/work ordersMonitor action pending reports (counter credits/shop credits)On a daily basis this individual may be required to communicate with any of the following: customers, employees, managers or vendorMaintain “Will Call” fileManagement of all Shipping Department PersonnelMaintain appropriate staff levelsTimely completion of training schedule90 day 2 review – 3 review (training schedule should be attached to appropriate review)Timely completion of shipping department orientation check listTimely completion of all performance reviews (In Birmingham 10 days prior to due date)QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or the equivalent required. ExperienceA minimum of 1-3 years’ work experience involving shipping related tasks required. Experience using personal computers and basic typing skills are required.
