Regional Nursing Supervisor

New Oakland Family Centers provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse services for consumers across Michigan, in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.Location: Wayne and Washtenaw County locations (Livonia 5 Mile, Livonia Schoolcraft, Southgate and Ann Arbor)Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pmReports To: Director of Nursing/ Associate Director of Nursing / Chief Medical Officer / Medical DirectorCompensation: Salary Employee. Commensurate with experience.Position Summary: The Regional Nursing Supervisor oversees nursing operations and supports the supervision and development of nursing staff in collaboration with the Director of Nursing. This role works closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, client-centered care across all services.Key Responsibilities:Uphold the NOFC mission, values, and culture while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and proceduresMaintain professional and appropriate boundaries with staff and clients at all timesProvide leadership, guidance, and supervision to nursing staff within the assigned regionPromote and implement evidence-based nursing practices to support quality client careCoordinate nursing schedules and ensure adequate staffing coverage for assigned regional sites, both onsite and remotelySupport the recruitment, onboarding, and training of nursing staff as directedDemonstrate initiative and accountability by identifying opportunities to strengthen nursing operations and team performance, including regular travel to regional sites to provide support, education, and mentorshipCommunicate effectively and professionally with directors, supervisors, and staff across all levels of the organizationCollaborate with laboratory services and Front Desk/Medical Assistant staff to oversee urine drug screen (UDS) collection processes, ensuring accurate tracking, timely processing, regulatory compliance, proper documentation, and effective cross-department communicationAssist in maintaining appropriate inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment at assigned sitesParticipate in shared on-call coverage for nursing and medical concerns outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends as neededCollaborate with site supervisors to address safety, compliance, and environmental concernsComplete all required documentation in accordance with clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standardsFulfill all required initial and ongoing training and professional development requirementsAttend leadership and departmental meetings as assignedMonitor and respond to email communications in a timely and professional mannerPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assignedWorking ConditionsStaff are expected to maintain a professional appearance and be prepared for active engagement with consumersThis role requires extended periods of remaining in a stationary position during HIPAA-compliant telehealth and in-person sessions and requires the ability to perform physical activities such as bending and reaching.
