Please apply only if you are confident in your technical abilities and hands-on experience.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains on a major cloud platform. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with enterprise standards. The ideal candidate brings strong breadth across modern cloud capabilities, depth in at least one major provider, and the architectural judgment to balance time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end cloud solutions covering compute, networking, storage, identity, data, and observability layersLead solution architecture reviews and approval processes for major cloud initiativesDefine cloud landing zone, account structure, and tagging strategies for new and existing workloadsEstablish reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable patterns adopted across engineering teamsArchitect security, identity, and compliance controls embedded into the cloud foundationDesign networking topologies including VPC/VNet design, transit hubs, hybrid connectivity, and private endpointsLead cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives across application portfoliosDrive cost optimization, capacity planning, and FinOps practices across the cloud estate, partnering with finance and engineering teams to make cloud spend transparent, predictable, and tied to delivered business valuePartner with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls from the outsetProduce architecture artifacts including context diagrams, sequence diagrams, and decision recordsProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams during solution deliveryEngage with cloud providers and platform partners to evaluate roadmap fitTrack emerging cloud capabilities and ecosystem developments, assessing relevance to current and planned workloads, and recommend strategic adoption based on demonstrated value and operational maturityMaintain alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory obligations, ensuring that cloud designs satisfy both engineering goals and the broader compliance posture of the organizationRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related fieldEight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture rolesDeep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platformStrong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitivesExperience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programsStrong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data servicesExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsExperience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadershipTrack record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering directionCloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Preferred QualificationsMultiple cloud architecture certificationsExperience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architecturesFamiliarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAFExposure to regulated industries with strict cloud compliance requirementsExperience driving FinOps and cost transparency initiativesHow to ApplyWould you like to know more about this opportunity?For immediate consideration, please send your resume to venkat.r@bvteck.com or contact us at (908) 505-3899.
