Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. The needs focus on both elementary and middle school resource settings, providing a chance to tailor your expertise to a diverse group of learners.Key Qualifications & Experience:Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Nebraska (or eligibility to obtain)Experience working in resource classroom settings, ideally at the elementary and/or middle school levelStrong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and complianceSolid communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsPositive approach to problem-solving and adapting to students’ unique needsAbility to provide engaging, differentiated instruction to support diverse learnersRole Expectations & Duties:Deliver high-quality instruction and intervention in resource classroomsDevelop, review, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)Collaborate with general education staff, related services, and families to support student successMonitor and document student progress toward IEP goalsFoster an inclusive, supportive, and encouraging classroom environmentAttend IEP meetings and staff development sessions as requiredMaintain accurate records and adhere to all district and state regulationsThis position provides a fantastic chance to help students thrive academically and socially, using your specialized training and passion for education.
