We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead our growing Environmental Services (ES) team in southeastern Pennsylvania and to serve the overall Pennsylvania environmental consulting market. This position can be based in our Lansdale or Denver, PA offices. You would be responsible for growing our presence in this geographic area, specifically but not limited to the oil and gas/mining industry, utilities, manufacturing, and real estate markets, as well as serving existing SCS ES clients.If you excel in a collaborative company and like dynamic work that challenges you to learn each day, SCS would be a great fit for you. You have the option to work hybrid in either our Lansdale, PA or Denver, PA offices.How You Can Make An ImpactYou will wear several hats, including Project Management responsibilities, growing the Pennsylvania ES Practice, and serving as a Seller-Doer.As a Senior Project Manager, you will contribute to SCS’s continued growth by:Developing new and existing clientsIntegrating with other ES staff across the companyManaging and being responsible for profit/loss of Pennsylvania projectsSeeking profitable ways to increase ES staff across PennsylvaniaManaging and continuing to build a team of ES professionals to support growthAs a Seller you will contribute to our growth by:Playing a lead role in new client acquisitionCollaborating with others at SCS to develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients' successDrafting and reviewing proposalsEnhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clientsAs a Doer You Will Work With a Team Of Professionals, Including SCS' National Experts In Various Fields, To Assist Our Clients In Resolving a Wide Variety Of Environmental Challenges To IncludeGroundwater Monitoring and ReportingHydrogeologic InvestigationsDue Diligence including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)Soil and Groundwater RemediationBrownfield RedevelopmentEnvironmental ComplianceMining and EnergyLiquids Management IssuesAir Permitting and Compliance ReportingQualificationsBachelors or Masters in an environmental-related science or engineering field required10+ years of related work experience required5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm requiredPennsylvania Act 2 project experience requiredBusiness Development experience in the Pennsylvania market requiredMembership/Experience with Pennsylvania professional organizations such as Pennsylvania PE or PG preferred.
