Position Overview:
As the Engineering Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts, specifically targeting clients in need of engineering solutions for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in structural engineering, extensive experience in construction project management, and a deep understanding of the permitting process. This role requires a results-driven professional who can effectively communicate technical concepts, build and maintain client relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector, emphasizing engineering solutions.
Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Project Oversight:
Understand the construction projects from initiation to completion.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver technical solutions that align with client requirements and regulatory standards.
Permitting Expertise:
Thoroughly understand the permitting process efficiently, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and technical support, to ensure seamless project execution.
Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales within the engineering or construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of construction project management and permitting processes.
Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $77,155.00 - $89,406.00 per year
