Veterinary Technician Lead - Urgent Care

About You: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to lead the organization, coordination, and supervision of shared resources and staff within our specialty service. In this Supervisor role, you will continue to function as a Veterinary Technician while also providing leadership, direction, training, and ongoing support to your team. The ideal candidate is a technician with strong anesthesia proficiency and a commitment to clinical excellence. This role requires both advanced technical expertise and the ability to guide others through mentorship, clear communication, and consistent support in a fast-paced environment. In addition, you will play a key role in upholding hospital standards, promoting established protocols, and fostering a respectful, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture. Compensation: $26.75-$32.00 an hour depending on experience, credentials, and education. Anticipated Schedule: This is a Full-Time position: 4 days a week / 10-hour shifts - to be determined by hospital manager Weekends are required. What's in it for you? Requirements: Preferably 5+ years emergency or urgent care or equivalent experience. Prior supervisor or team lead experience Associates in Veterinary Technology is a plus. CVT license is a plus. Knowledge of Anesthesia and monitoring. Phlebotomy Knowledge of the procedures used for scheduling patients, receiving, treating, ordering medical supplies, and requesting laboratory tests. Knowledge of the use, care, and storage of veterinary instruments, materials, and equipment. Knowledge of sterilization techniques to sterilize various instruments and materials. Knowledge of the instruments, materials, and standardized procedures used in the full variety of treatments to prepare and provide tableside assistance. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services. This includes client needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of client satisfaction. Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments. Must be 18 years or older to apply. #ACP1
