Travel RN - Med/Surg - Long Term Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Long Term Care position at a leading Midwest health system, requiring an active MN RN license and a minimum of 2 years of LTC experience or 3 prior travel assignments.Job Details• Long term care unit within a large academic health system in Rochester, MN,• Night shift schedule: 6 PM-6 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week),• Epic EMR used for charting,Job Requirements• Active MN RN license required - no pending licenses accepted,• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program, or at least 1 year of RN experience within the last 5 years in an applicable care setting if program was not accredited; 1 year of RN experience also required if graduation did not occur within the last 2 years,• Minimum of 2 years of long term care RN experience and/or 3 completed travel assignments required for this Rochester, MN facility,• Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required (must not expire within 3 months of start date),• English proficiency required (speak, read, write),• Date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Responsible for coordinating nursing care including direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care,• Functions within the nursing professional practice model with accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating, and communicating all phases of care for assigned patients,• May serve in preceptor and informal leadership roles and participate in quality improvement initiatives,• Delegates patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and available resources,• COVID vaccination and booster required for eligibility,
